What exactly is PTFE grease?
In simple terms, it’s a super-slick lubricant packed with tiny bits of PTFE (that’s Polytetrafluoroethylene, but don’t worry, no one says the full name). You’ve probably heard of it as Teflon™ – the same non-stick magic they use on frying pans. When it’s added to grease, it helps things move smoothly without the usual friction and wear.
