Alternatively, some people prefer to just let the engine idle for a total of 4 hours instead of driving – handy if that suits your vehicle better.
If you’re feeling particularly cautious, you can go for a double dose: do the first as normal, drive about 500 km, then add the second dose. This gives you a thicker protective layer, but don’t change your oil until you’ve clocked at least 1,500 km after the second treatment.
