how to get reliable readings
To get sensible results, wait at least 20 minutes after drinking before testing and, if you can, rinse your mouth with water. Turn the unit on and let the warm-up finish — the device runs a short countdown, then blow steadily for the full 5 seconds. If the display shows “loading” or won’t start, don’t keep blowing into it; switch it off and on a couple of times and try again. Continuous use can let moisture into the airway, but a few firm shakes and a power cycle usually sorts it.
